Police: Pair Assaults Krauszer's Employee, Robs Store at Gunpoint

Alleged robbers tied up two employees and one customer, rob convenience store of $700 and lottery tickets in late-night armed robbery Wednesday.

West Orange police are searching for two men who allegedly assaulted an employee, tied up a customer and the employees and then robbed the Krauszer's on Central Avenue at gunpoint late Wednesday night, officials said. 

According to police, the men made off with $700 and lottery tickets when they robbed the convenience store at 11:53 p.m.

The two robbers hit one of the employees with a gun then tied up a customer and the two employees with zip-ties, police said.

According to the report, the pair fled across Valley Road toward Nutman Place. 

The robbers were described as black men, wearing all black and ski masks, according to the report.

The assaulted employee suffered minor injuries to his head, police said.

According to recent reports released by police, this is the eighth armed robbery in West Orange this year.
