ReplyAs usual it's think local, think self, not globally. Profits, profits, profits, that's all that matters. It's about saving the world idiots, it's about minimizing the crap you find in the ocean and don't really even have to look hard to find it. Swallow your profits, find an alternative and be happy the Hudson won't look like your storage room...

ReplyWe can't touch the dolphin because it's federally protected and we could injure it. Just in: Dolphin that was never touched due to concerns about it's safety has died, Federally required permits bogged down in red tape. Typical human reaction, just like if one of us way lying in the street, would anyone help? No.

ReplyAllstate is the bottom-feeder in the slime bog of the swamp where insurance companies dwell. Allstate cancelled my auto insurance when 2 people had hit my car in a 5-year period. They said because *I* had had 2 accidents (no fault) in a 5-year period that their policy was I was now high-risk and I had to be removed from their auto insurance program but "I was still eligible to get rental insurance on my apartment if I wanted." I signed up with Geico who frankly, has the best insurance policies on Earth, they've taken care of me in amazing ways. People are learning there's a lot of downsides to living close to the ocean during years deemed climatic changing. I hope you are recover and find yourself back in happy circumstances.

On the article $100 Million Suit for Newtown Family at Stake in Attorney's Claim to State

Gun control is not the answer. It is a solution seen by those who have been victims of crime or who have never possessed a weapon. If I was a member of a family sitting down to dinner one night that couldn't protect them against the 4 men walking in the door in a home-invasion and I survived imagine the guilt, the bitterness against the government for depriving me of the means to protect them. The common parable is: "I'd rather have a gun and not need it then not have one and need it." We're a society built on the Constitution and tolerance of politicians who would want to repeal it would endanger their lives among other things. There are only two solutions to this problem, Love & Family.

Wait until the family (with a surviving child of course) is identified by the media, they'll have to leave Newtown in disgrace and many people reading about this on Patch and online will remember their names and photos. To the plaintiffs: Try to move anywhere in the U.S. and not be identified as the pathetic opportunists you are.

Is there anything more predictable in American society then families using a tragedy like this to shift the blame off the gunman onto those who are not responsible in the hope of juicy paydays to "assuage" their guilt? Pathetic and frivolous.

Is there anything more predictable in America then families of tragedies trying to shift the responsibility, in this case, off the gunman and onto parties not responsible for the incident in order to "assuage" their guilt when it's really about a juicy payday? They don't appear so distraught that they can't march down to the attorney's office and jump on an opportunity. Pathetic and frivolous.

I had a few teachers I wouldn't have minded getting to know a little better. Unfortunately I lived in a small town with mostly upstanding teachers that knew if anything happened, 25,000 people would ruin their lives, lol. One beauty in my 7th grade class had students that wouldn't only come up to the front of her desk, I wonder if her monkey breath had anything to do with it..
