Dorie Cappiello, VMD, Neighbor

I was born in West Orange and went to all of the public schools.  After attending Rutgers, Cook College and graduating as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, Dentistry and Surgery from the University of Pennnsylvania in 1986, I returned to West Orange to open Prospect Ridge Veterinary Hospital where I am currently practicing.  I have been a member of the Rotary Club of West Orange since 1998 and served as President from 2006-2007.  I am currently the Web Site editor for our site at www.westorangerotary.org.  My husband John and I are volunteers for the NJ State Wildlife Conservation Corps and serve as bald eagle nest watchers as well as hawk counters for HMANA.  We are avid birdwatchers and travel all over the USA in search of new and exciting species.  We have 2 funny pugs, Augustus and Woodrow.
