Diarra White, Neighbor

Diarra White is a Senior at West Orange High School and an aspiring journalist. While interested in everything from broadcast to print journalism, Diarra serves as editor and chief of her school&#39;s newspaper, <i>The Pioneer. </i>She has extensive experience with investigative journalism as well as feature stories. She has interviewed popular musical act Vampire Weekend, Warped Tour founder Kevin Lyman, Washington correspondent Ana Marie Cox and many others. 

As a self proclaimed, &#34;extra curriculars addict,&#34; Diarra is a member of numerous school clubs, organizations and musical groups as well as sports ranging from volleyball to figure skating. When not writing or studying Diarra can be found perusing her newest project; backpack journalism...oh and getting into college.
