ReplyJesse is right - Burnham Park was out for 7 day (TWICE) last year and once again we are in the dark - now for 11 DAYS - When the electricity went out I knew we would be last - and the facts speak for themselves - Why was it only yesterday that I saw the first utility trucks in Morris Township - Look Madison has their own utility company - got their residents back super quick and now they are helping us - that is pretty bad!

ReplyFinally saw utility trucks this afternoon in Morris Township - what a joke ten days after the storm and they are just surfacing - their response has been a total joke and I hope that the governor looks into their poor response - worse than last year by far - I should submit my gas bills for all of the gas I used to fill my generator for the last ten days and counting!

ReplyI am thrilled - I wish they were coming sooner - A&P could have made a go of it but it has gone down hill and even though it is the closest food store around I have not been there for years!

ReplyJust went down to that intersection - pole still broken and a JCP&L rep is sitting in his running truck "guarding" the intersection - that is money and resources well spent - still no power in Burnham Park - Day 9!

ReplyIt was only a matter of time until incidents like this started happening - And yes the majority of the Burnham Park community is still without power/heat - Day 8! Dorothy Drive/Grace Way and Upper Field have looked fine for days - where is the electric!

ReplyOnly a very "small" portion of Burnham Park has power - the majority does not and as usual with every other storm we wait and wait - we are the forgotten neighborhood - aside from West Lake and Fairmount everything else seems fine and I am at a loss as to why our power has not been restored - this is getting pretty ridiculous!

ReplyOnce again JCP&L has forgotten about Burnham Park - 7 days each time last year - the trees have been removed by the Township - any utility trucks around?

ReplyI agree wtih Scott - this is ridiculous - Our neighborhood is once again the forgotten area of the Township - 6 1/2 days following Irene and we are now on Day 6 - much of Burnham Park has had electric for over three days - agreed the Fire Department has been our only line of communication and I am tired of the mass emails that give little or no information.

Yup Friday evening - once again no electricity - once again Burnham Park is still in the dark - this is beyond inexcusable! I am tired of our public officials and their "Promises"
