What motivates people to do what they do? In my case, I began my community involvement in the public schools.  If I was going to send my children somewhere for 6 hours a day, you bet I was going to know what was going on there, and what everyone was like.  Pleasantly surprised, I have continued to build relationships in the school district as I watch my children grow and receive a great education.

     Negativity motivates me to be positive and supportive.  Plenty of people complain, but only a few are willing to get involved and be part of a solution. 

     Kindness and compassion motivate me.  Let's help people through their issues and support and encourage them instead of criticizing and berating them.  Look for my blogs to be about kids, anti-bullying, the food pantry, and the town.
