I agree 100%, only now it does not have to be disguised, it does not have to be done behind closed doors, it is overt, blatant, visceral and growing in disgust. Why is it that people of color are routinely forced to sit their children down and explain to them what others find funny, just a joke or blatantly intended to be racist, even learned by children. Children are not born racist, they learn it from inside of their own dwellings, from their parents. What about an application to join the KKK, affixed to the locker of a middle school student remotely seems funny to do? Now, the parents of this young man must learn what we adults already know that the process which occurs as rites of passage for many must also include racist acts. As someone who has gone through it and whose daughter was also introduced, I find the addition contemptuous; almost as contemptuous and the constant and vigorous denials.

I am already doing it. Being terminally unemployed and having next to nothing in income, living a forced retired life. Hope she enjoys hers, price of gas and having no money with which to travel or enjoy this life, being four years older than her planned retirement age, she would better keep her job. In her 50s, doubt she will be so enthused at being retired if she is unable to find a job.

I have Netflix and renew Hulu Plus at times. I also like british mysteries so I also watch some times Acorn tv. I also visit Crackle. Time Warner got to be so expensive. I really hated Reality Television. I miss the ability to watch shows like perhaps The Waltons and some of the old shows that you can't get without it being on DVDs. It is kind of sad that in offering so much in terms of entertainment, cable companies, who pretty much have the market cornered increase their prices as often as an allergy suffering at the peak time of Spring sneezes. People sometimes have to investigate and move towards alternatives. The cost of your entertainment, television watching should not come before up against your living indoors, able to pay electric bill and provide for yourself. I was raised and reared on television, but barring the cost of returning to watching, it sits now as a reminder that once I could afford to watch and enjoy it.

By the time you get to where the lowest gas of the day Is located, you have spent the few pennies and it is no longer considered the lowest price of the day.

I agree with you. If not by a bigger market, than this will be an indelible lesson for when he is hired again. Sometimes, we need an actual experience for us and others to learn a lesson which we all know. Imagine all of the journalism classes which are using his experience as a teaching example. He may be one of the legends in his profession beyond his 15 minutes of fame and an F bomb dropped during a live microphone he thought in error to not be turned on.

Sadly, there are some professions which are no forgiving. He has chosen one of them, he will either survive this faux pa or he will find a new career which will hopefully be a better one for him. He has gotten way more publicity than he would have had he not dropped the F bomb so for now, it is to his advantage. Wish him well.

Duh, Come on now...It is a forum for people to express what the think and feel. Why is the first recourse and the middle and last is to insult someone regarding their English/grammer skills. Wehn we do this we hold ourselves up to be scrutinized with a fine tooth comb for our errors. If one can understand what is written then so be it, if not move on to someone's opinion which aligns with our own. If driving...no comma, no question mark at end of sentence to denote question, either meant or simply rhetorical. What does "knowning," mean? The word knowning does nt appear in any English dictionary; also no comma usage in entire sentence making it not make any sense as "Knowning now that it is a gun free environment I will never step into the place" make no sense at all! In answer to your question, since all the people mentioned don't look much like themselves, doubt those working have the time or energy to card them all. I do agree with you in asking where is the common sense? I do so with proper punctuation of a question mark. See how the cow tips when you try to be the grammer police for someone's ideas?
