Chinese Students Arrive for High School Exchange Program

Chinese students will shadow West Orange High School students for the week

A group of students from China and two teachers arrived in West Orange Thursday night for a week of cultural exchange. As part of the exchange program, 11 students will shadow high school students for one week and stay with host families in West Orange. The itinerary includes a day trip to New York City, Princeton University and Washington, D.C. The students and teachers will also enjoy a weekend in West Orange, getting to know the township and spending time with their host families. Amy Schwarz, support staff at the high school library, told Patch she's excited to be hosting the two teachers. "I'm really excited to have them," she said. "It's a great experience." The week kicks-off with an early morning reception Friday at the high school…
