Watch Night Traditions at Local Churches
The congregations of First Baptist Church and St Andrews and Holy Communion, both in South Orange, observe a long tradition of New Year's Eve services.
While revelers count down the minutes until midnight, opening champagne to celebrate the new year, many South Orange residents greet 2013 at church.
