Four Cars Burglarized, One Stolen in West Orange
String of cars burglarized and stolen in township during the last week.
West Orange police have had a busy week in the township, reporting five cars were burglarized and two were stolen — with one stolen car outrunning police in a chase through town and on Route 280 . Police reported six dollars was stolen from a 2009 Infinity G37 on Saint Cloud Avenue after the burglar broke in through the driver's side door on Jan. 21 at about 1:28 a.m. In a separate incident, police said sometime between 10:30 p.m. on Jan. 21 and 7:30 a.m. on Jan. 22, a Blue 2012 Kia Optima was stolen from the driveway of an Arverne Road residence.
