West Orange Hosting Free Rabies Clinic

The Health Department will host two free clinics in January.

The West Orange Health Department is starting the new year with two free rabies vaccination clinics. The first clinic will be held on Saturday, January 5, at the DPW, located at 25 Lakeside Ave. from 10 a.m. to noon.  The second clinic will be held on Wednesday, January 9, at Fire Station #4, located at 280 Pleasant Valley Way from 3-4 p.m. Owners bringing their pets must keep dogs on leashes and cats in carriers.  New puppies and kittens must be at least four months old to receive the rabies vaccine.  A licensed veterinarian will administer the vaccinations, said health department officials.
