West Orange Residents Mingle at Township Picnic
More than 100 people partied, perused community information booths Sunday
Meeting your neighbors seemed to be the theme at West Orange's annual picnic. Droves of people gathered outside township hall to party and learn more about different government agencies, community groups and non-profit organizations. The event lasted about three hours and it featured food, music, games, a photo opportunity with Mayor Robert Parisi and information booths for about 35 different information booths. The picnic was organized by Jessica Glicker, West Orange's township communications director, and Prakash Khaitan, a township resident and the West Orange Public Relations Community Chairman.
