Roughriders Take Basketball Mayor's Trophy
Roosevelt boys, girls win weekend tournament over Golda Och on home court.
The Roosevelt Middle School boys and girls basketball teams were the winners of this weekend's Mayors Trophy basketball tournament held at Roosevelt Middle School in West Orange. The tournament, involving the Roughriders, Liberty Middle School, Pope John and Golda Och Academy, was a round-robin event that began earlier in the week, with the championship game on Sunday. In both the girls and boys championship games, the Roughriders took on Golda Och Academy.
