Patch users vote baby playing with holiday lights as the best photo in contest.
Baby's first Christmas was not only memorialized in a photo by his parents, but now as the winner of Patch's regional photo contest. The photo, "Wesley Tangled in Lights," was chosen as the winner of Patch's Best Holiday Photo contest. We asked Patch users to submit their favorite holiday photos on participating sites. Photos were then chosen to enter our regional contest where users could vote for the photo they felt was the best. While some photos showed dogs dancing around holiday lights, other photos showed kids with Santa Claus and dressed up for the holiday season. In my house, it isn’t the holidays until the Chocolate Crackle Cookies come out. They are, for us, as much a staple of the season as decorating the tree and overspending on presents. There are many different variations on this recipe, but they all follow the same basic structure: whip up an ultra-fudgy cookie dough, roll it into balls, coat with confectioners sugar and pop into the oven.
