There's still time left to shop at Short Hills, Willowbrook, Livingston Malls.

With just three shopping days left until Christmas, there are precious few days left to say "I'll do it tomorrow." Whether you're just busy, a serial procrastinator, or something in the middle, local malls are open through Christmas Eve to give even the late starters a chance to max out those credit cards. Best Holiday Photo Shows Baby Tangled in Lights

Patch users vote baby playing with holiday lights as the best photo in contest.

Baby's first Christmas was not only memorialized in a photo by his parents, but now as the winner of Patch's regional photo contest. The photo, "Wesley Tangled in Lights," was chosen as the winner of Patch's Best Holiday Photo contest. We asked Patch users to submit their favorite holiday photos on participating sites. Photos were then chosen to enter our regional contest where users could vote for the photo they felt was the best. Favorite Holiday Recipe: Chocolate Crackle Cookies

For our family, these cookies herald the start of the holiday season.

In my house, it isn’t the holidays until the Chocolate Crackle Cookies come out.  They are, for us, as much a staple of the season as decorating the tree and overspending on presents. There are many different variations on this recipe, but they all follow the same basic structure: whip up an ultra-fudgy cookie dough, roll it into balls, coat with confectioners sugar and pop into the oven. As they bake, the cookies split open on top and the powdered sugar gives them a festive, crackled look.  They are almost pretty enough to hang on the tree, although I wouldn’t recommend it. Crackle cookies are easy, delicious and last for at least a week – which makes them an ideal holiday gift.  I wrap a few in festive bags, tie with a ribbon and hand …
