Here are the new dates: Feb 11, 13 6:30pm-9:00pm and Feb 16 1:00pm-4:00pm Auditions will be February 6-February 9 for interACT Theatre Production’s presentation of The Full Monty. The musical centers around a group of unemployed steelworkers in Buffalo, New York, who come up with a bold way to make some quick cash after seeing how much their wives enjoy watching male strippers during their "Girls' Night Out." The book is by Terrence McNally, with music and lyrics by David Yazbek. Nicholas J. Clarey, interACT’s artistic director, will direct this production. Auditions for The Crucible will be held early next month for Arthur Miller's well-known colonial “witch hunt” to be presented by interACT Theatre Productions. interACT is a young Essex County theatre company that plans three main stage productions in its upcoming season. Past productions have included She Loves Me, The Bad Seed and Godspell. Performance dates for The Crucible are Oct. 12-Oct. 14 and Oct. 19-Oct. 21. Musical Theatre Conservatory is seeking talented performer kids and teens for its NYC cabaret. The conservatory's three-week intensive workshop in musical theatre culminates on July 14 at NYC’s Laurie Beechman Theatre. Learn with professional actors who just happen to live in West Orange, Dwayne Clark (Spiderman, In the Heights) and Steven Beckler (The Producers, Beauty and the Beast); and South Orange’s Mary Brienza (Comedy Central). A faculty full of top-notch theatre professionals will then bring it to the stage in the heart of NYC’s theater district.
