Second Attempted Robbery at Main Street ATM
Man with knife attempts at Bank of America a day after a someone tried to rob a woman at same ATM.
Two men allegedly tried to rob a 55-year-old West Orange man at a Main Street bank ATM on Feb. 2 before fleeing without any money, West Orange police reported. The attempted robbery occurred one day after a man tried to rob at woman with a note at the same ATM. In the Feb. 2 incident, the West Orange man started to withdraw money from the Bank of America, 59 Main St., around 9:45 p.m. when a man he didn't know walked out of the bank, police said. As he continued to use the ATM, the West Orange man told police a second unknown man with a knife approached him from behind yelling, "Give me $100." JF, the sad fact is the round limit just may be ether 7 or 10. If that's going to be the issue, I sure hope they don't put a limit on magazines that one could own or ammunition in ones possession. more ›
