'The World Comes to Essex' at Codey Arena Open House

Essex County invites residents to a day of events and shows at Codey Arena in West Orange for an open house.

"Join us for an exciting day where we highlight our diverse skating programs and showcase the talents of our skaters. Come see why the Arena has become a favorite for families all over the world, right here in Essex County," said Essex County Executive Joseph N. DiVincenzo Jr. 

The schedule for the day is as follows:

  • 12:15-1:45pm Join us for free Public Skating and complimentary skate rental
  • 11:45am 1:00pm 2:45pmWatch the Junior Devils Youth Hockey compete in three exhibitions. 
  • 2:15-3:30pm Curling Exhibition. One of the most popular spectator Olympic sports.
  • 4:15-5:15pm Cheer on the Daredevil SpecialNeeds Hockey Program
At night, 'The World Comes to Essex' will start at 6:45 pm. featuring Bravo On Ice, The Synchroettes, Essex Special Skaters and National Team hopefuls with very special guests Tatiana Volosozhar and Maxim Trankov, World Champions Pairs 2013.

Admission to show: Adults $7 Children $5
Admission includes free public skating after the show. (Skate rental $3)
