West Orange Intersection to Close Monday Morning

Here's what is going on in West Orange this week.

There will be one road closure Monday morning for continue waterline maintenance by NJ American Water Company in the Gregory section of town.

The intersection of Wellington Avenue at Oak Ridge will be closed after 8:30 a.m.

Also on Monday, all municipal offices will be closed. Check out what else is closed here

The West Orange Energy Commission is scheduled to meet Tuesday at West Orange Town Hall, 66 Main St. in Room 109 at 7 p.m.

On Wednesday there are a few meetings scheduled:

  • At 7:30 p.m. the West Orange Commission on Military & Veterans Afffairs will meet at 560 Northfield Avenue. South Mountain Rec. Complex Essex County Public Conference Room.
  • At 8 p.m.  the West Orange Animal Welfare League Meeting is set for 66 Main Street in Conference Room 109.
On Thursday, the Special West Orange Zoning Board of Adjustment meeting will take place at 8 p.m., also at West Orange Town Hall, 66 Main Street.

Also on Thursday, the Arts Council will also meet Thursday at 7 p.m. at West Orange Town Hall, 66 Main Strett, in Conference Room 109.

Additionally, Mayor Robert Parisi will host office hours Thursday from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at township hall. 

On Friday, the Farmers Market will continue at Quigley Municipal Lot, the corner of Harrison and Mississippi avenues. Residents are encouraged to head down from noon to 6 p.m. to check out the great fresh produce that two local farmers are selling along with the delicious snacks and foods offered by our other vendors.
