West Orange resident Barbara Ann Heins has been selected to receive the Lincoln Ames Award by the Board of Trustees of Green Hill Inc., in West Orange, New Jersey. The award will be presented at the 2014 Green Hill Gala to be held on October 2nd at Green Hill.

Ms. Heins began her career at the age of sixteen in office management, and has worked for major companies such as Continental Insurance and Blue Cross. Ms. Heins joined the Green Hill, Inc. team in 1981 and quickly rose to the position of administrative assistant to the Executive Director/President, Ms. Toni Lynn Davis.

"Barbara is very dedicated to Green Hill, the first one to arrive at the office in the morning and one of the last to leave at night. Barbara is extremely hardworking and always willing to help others even at the detriment of her own responsibilities. Barbara is much more than an administrative assistant. She is a friend, a confidant, a teacher, and a hugely generous person with her time and resources. I am thrilled Barbara has been chosen to receive the 2013 Lincoln Ames Award. It couldn’t go to a more deserving person!" Toni Lynn Davis, Executive Director/President Green Hill Inc.
