Nearly $58K Raised for This Weekend's Relay for Life [Updated]

Check out the top three teams, participants and companies that raised the most money so far for the event on Saturday in West Orange. Follow Patch's running tally of money raised for the event here!

As of Thursday afternoon, 56 teams with 393 participants have raised more than $57,000 for the West Orange Relay for Life. 

The event is slated for Saturday at the West Orange High School at 5 p.m. Patch will keep a running tally of money raised for the event here and team, individual and business stats.

According to the American Cancer Society's website for Relay for Life as of Tuesday afternoon $57,801.27 has been raised. Donate to the event here.

The top three teams are:

  1. ozzies irish scotties with $6,950 raised
  2. Minutemen Moving Mountains with $3,810 raised
  3. Minutemen Remix with $3,636 raised.

  1. Sue Leone with $6,950 raised
  2. Craig Rexford with $2,650 raised
  3. Emily DeBarbieri with $2,625 raised

The top three companies are:

  1. UnitedHealthcare - NCTP with $25,000 donated
  2. Newark Academy with $14,681 donated
  3. West Orange High School with $8,174.96 donated
