Mighty T-Rex Heads to West Orange Library

Field Station: Dinosaurs, an educational family attraction in Secaucus, will bring dancing, dino stories and an animatronic dinosaur to the library.

Dinosaurs are taking over West Orange Public Library on Monday.

A 15-foot animatronic Tyrannosaurus rex from Field Station: Dinosaurs, a 20-acre outdoor Jurassic expedition in Secaucus, will visit the township as part of the attraction's tour of North Jersey libraries.

Joining the jumbo dinosaur will be the Field Station's Dinosaur Troubadour, who will teach library guests the lively Dimetrodon Dance and read from Chris Gall's book "Dinotrux."

Field Station: Dinosaurs features 32 life-sized animatronic dinosaurs, the new 3D movie "Dinosaurs Alive!," programs and games created with the park’s partners at the New Jersey State Museum and more.

You can get a taste of the prehistoric fun at the library, 46 Mt. Pleasant Ave., Monday at 4:30 p.m.
