Fourth of July in WO

Celebration week culminates today with fireworks and 'Lefty' Boland Fun Meet.

 

The week of sesquicentennial events reaches its culmination on today, July 4, with the Independence Day Celebration at the West Orange High School.

The traditional "Lefty" Boland Fun Meet will begin at 6 p.m., in addition to music, games, pony rides and other attractions. The grand finale will take place at 7 p.m.

And if you still crave West Orange history after Wednesday, you are in luck! Township Historian Joe Fagan will continue his Sesquicentennial Lecture Series with the life of Thomas Alva Edison on Thursday, July 19, at 7 p.m. at the West Orange Public Library.
