West Orange High Seeks New Lacrosse Coach

Rob McOmish says new responsibilities won't allow him the time to devote to West Orange lacrosse.

West Orange High School needs a new head varsity lacrosse coach. After one season in the position, Rob McOmish recently handed in his resignation, said The Alternative Press.

McOmish told the publication that  new responsibilities would not allow him the time to devote to West Orange. In addition to the coaching gig, he also had other jobs, including teaching physical education at Montclair High School and running summer lacrosse and soccer clinics for the Big 5 Little Lax organization. He also was chosen to serve as MHS' new girls soccer coach.

The district is currently seeking a replacement. Anyone interested in the job may send email to Athletic Director Ron Bligh at rbligh@woboe.org.
