Essex County CASA hosted its Annual Bowling Benefit on Jan. 27 at Eagle Rock Lanes.

Essex County CASA is an independent, court authorized, non-profit organization that works through professionally trained and supervised volunteers to promote the welfare of foster children in Essex County.

CASA volunteers serve as a child’s “voice in court” working to ensure that needed services and assistant are made available while helping to move the child towards a safe and permanent home.
