Health & Fitness

Time is on my mind.

Perhaps above even relationships and money, time is quite possibly our most precious resource.  After all, it's time that we get to spend hanging out with our BFF's or SO's.  It's time that we get to sell to others in return for a paycheck.  Time moves faster through our fingers than any other resource we have -- it's impossible to hold onto and it's easy to waste.

And yet so many of us do waste it, each and every day, even though we all know that each of us has only a limited amount.  Living on purpose requires that we manage the time we have as well as we might manage our budget and our important relationships.

This is a skill that can be learned.  It will probably never be perfect -- any Mom of small children knows that her best laid plans can be thwarted at any moment by one small child with a stomach bug.  But an on-purpose mom can bounce back from the chaos of puke and Lysol faster than a mom who's just winging it.

Are you living on purpose?  What changes would you need to make to be more in charge of your own schedule?
