Essex County Executive Joseph N. DiVincenzo, Jr. and St. Peter's University President Eugene Cornacchia announced on Saturday a partnership between Essex County Turtle Back Zoo and St. Peter's University in West Orange.

The peacocks, which freely roam the grounds at Turtle Back, have been adopted as the official mascots of St. Peter's University Peacocks from Jersey City.
