Toy Drives in the West Orange School District

Various West Orange schools are collecting toys for families in need this holiday season

Toy drives are being held across the West Orange School district. A few of note are efforts on behalf of the Mayor’s Sunshine Fund Foundation who distributes toys to West Orange families in need. Other drives are contributing to the Camden Street School in Newark and the US Marine Corps Toys For Tots program. Please take the time to donate to one or more of the efforts below.

The St. Cloud Student Council is hosting a toy drive to support the Mayor’s Sunshine Fund. Unwrapped toys can be dropped off at St. Cloud office until Dec.16th. 71 Sheridan Avenue

 

The Roosevelt Middle School Jr. Interact club is celebrating their 10 Year Anniversary of their partnership with Camden Street School in Newark.  This season they will deliver toys for 160 special needs students in the Camden Street School Gymnasium on Wednesday, December 18th at 10:30 am.  We will have 35 of our helping elves and a special guest as Santa Claus.  Cash donations can be made to Roosevelt Middle School, by dropping off in the main office care of Mrs. Cerutti or Mrs. Gordon.  We are also selling commemorative T-Shirts with our helping elves for $10.00. Donate by December 16th to Roosevelt Middle School, 36 Gilbert Place.

 

WOHS Air Force Jr ROTC Toy Drive

The West Orange High School Air Force Junior ROTC program is conducting a toy drive 5 – 19 Dec.  New, unwrapped toys for children of all ages will be accepted at the West Orange High School Conforti and Pleasant Valley Way entrances during normal school hours.  Collected toys will be distributed as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children in the community, in partnership with the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program.
