Silent Peace March At Hazel Elementary

The West Orange school staged the march recognizing the national School Violence Awareness Week

In keeping with Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s powerful message of peaceful protest, Hazel Avenue Elementary School staged a “Silent Peace March” on Monday morning.

Hazel recognized the national School Violence Awareness Week by bringing attention to peace and acceptance of diversity as an alternative to violence.

The march was completed in absolute silence and somber reflection of all that could be achieved if everyone practiced peace and acceptance.
