As the former Associate Director of Essex County Department of Corrections I oversaw a $105 million budget and 700 employees. I am a graduate of the Harvard University JFK School of Government Leadership Institute. I served on the Advisory Board for Katharine Gibbs College and Essex County College Police Academy. I am a certified teacher with the NJ Human Resource Development Institute. One of my proudest achievements is establishing the We Care 4 All Foundation. To date this all volunteer organization has raised over $60,000 for area charities including Autism Speaks. We also run toy drives and other events around the holidays. I have been a volunteer in town for many years both through my children's school PTAs and the Mountain Top League (MTL), and I currently serve on the MTL Board of Trustees. I am very involved in the wrestling program and have volunteered as a baseball and soccer coach.
