Mayhem Poets to Perform Poetry Concert at Roosevelt School
The group will present their unique form of spoken word at the school on Thursday.
The Mayhem Poets will be visiting Roosevelt Middle School on Jan. 23, according to the school district website.
The trio present a unique style to spoken word through performing at various events and concerts. According to the Mayhem Poets website, the mission of the group is to find a way to access people from all walks of life with spoken word. As a result, the group has reached out to prisons, fraternities, churches and hip hop/poetry fans alike to attract the most diverse poetry open-mic scene in the world.
