Hazel Elementary School Holds First Turkey Run
The Turkey Run was held to promote physical fitness and healthy living within the school community.

Hazel Elementary School held it's first Turkey Run to promote physical fitness and well-being. Physical Education teacher Mr. Velez organized this event with the assistance of Hazel Principal Dr. Acevedo. The theme of the Turkey Trot was "All fit turkeys have great legs", according to Velez. Students in grades Kindergarten to second ran half a mile, while students in grades three to five ran a mile.
