West Orange Gets New Shuttle Bus Route

Monday kicks off the new shuttle bus route to transport residents to and from the South Orange and Orange train stations, Mayor Robert D. Parisi announced.

Jitney Route #5 will serve neighborhoods along Mt. Pleasant and Northfield Avenues near the Livingston border including Merklin, Dogwood, Oaks, Korwel, Woods End, Bel Air and Vizcaya.

Peak period morning and evening bus service will be provided to and from these neighborhoods and the Orange or South Orange Train Stations.  

The new Jitney route joins four other routes currently serving the Township.
