Valley Arts District Is Star of New West Orange YouTube Channel

New channel will promote town events and local businesses.

A new YouTube channel shines a spotlight on all the great things West Orange has to offer. The new channel's first featured video, produced by Patrick Sutherland of Vidoovy, is all about the Valley Arts District, The Alternative Press reported.

The township hired Sutherland at a fraction of his regular fee to market the town through promotional videos via the channel, the article said. The West Orange channel will serve as a tool to cover local events and to introduce area businesses and institutions to the public.

The Valley Arts video showcases the creative output of the growing West Orange community, which serves as a base for New Jersey and New York artists and musicians. Two weeks ago, the district won a $50,000 development grant by the National Endowment for the Arts.
