Pay Your West Orange Taxes Online

Property taxes are due Thursday.

The Township will now offer residents and businesses the ability to pay their taxes online, Mayor Robert D. Parisi announced.

“Making a tax payment online is fast, easy, and safe. It takes just 3 simple steps to complete the transaction,” Tax Collector Joanne Gagliardo said. “The tax bill is paid immediately upon input and the transaction is free.”

Follow the instructions below for the free payment process:

  • Go to the Township website at www.westorange.org.
  • Click on the box located on the upper left corner that says "Online Bill Pay,” which links to the payment page at www.westorange.org/taxpaymentsonline.
  • Enter block and lot information, located on the bill, and follow the simple process.
Payments are made in the form an ACH payment, where funds from the taxpayer’s account will electronically be transferred into the Township’s account.

“This initiative makes the Tax Collector’s office more accessible to residents and businesses and exemplifies our commitment to enhance service convenience for taxpayers,” Parisi said.

To make online payments for multiple properties, residents and businesses must pay for each property individually.

Payments can still be made by mail or in person at the Tax Collector’s office in Town Hall, located at 66 Main Street, or by dropping the payments in the lockbox located in the parking lot behind Town Hall.

The next tax bill is due August 1, 2013, payable no later than Aug 12, 2013 to avoid any interest charges. Third-quarter payments may now be received and processed online.
