Grant Helps Finance Street Improvements

The four streets in the Heights section of West Orange to be improved are Kling Street, Ridge Avenue between Franklin and Whittlesey avenues, Erwin Place and Liberty Street.

Mayor Robert Parisi announced West Orange has been awarded a Department of Housing and Urban Development Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) to help improve four streets in the Heights section of town.

The four streets include Kling Street, Ridge Avenue between Franklin and Whittlesey avenues, Erwin Place and Liberty Street.

“Block Grants enable the Township to improve a neighborhood in the most cost-effective manner without burdening all our property owners for the full cost of the improvement,” said Parisi.
