In celebration of Fire Prevention Safety Week, the township is shedding the spotlight on five West Orange firefighters, offering the community a chance to learn about the heroic men and women who protect West Orange.

For this week, the West Orange Facebook page will feature biographical information and pictures of the firefighters along with their answers to five questions they were each asked about working with the West Orange Fire Department (WOFD).

During Fire Prevention Week, departments around the U.S. are joining with the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) to remind residents to ‘Prevent Kitchen Fires.' During this year’s fire safety campaign, departments will be teaching residents how to prevent kitchen fires—most of which result from unattended cooking.
