Police: New Year's Eve Ruckus at Club 4Sixty6

A Roseland woman was arrested Jan. 1 after she struck a security guard in the face outside Club 4Sixty6 in West Orange, police said. The 19-year-old female was screaming outside the club around 1 a.m. when police advised her to calm down or be arrested. The woman continued screaming and struck a member of the security staff with a closed fist. The woman was apprehended and charged with disorderly conduct.

A woman told police she was assaulted while inside Club 4Sixty 6 shortly after 2 a.m. on Jan. 1. The woman said she was waiting in line for the bathroom when one of the club's bouncers told her to "get in line" and allegedly pushed her. According to the incident report, when the woman told the bouncer not to push her, he grabbed her by the throat and dragged her toward the exit. The bouncer was described as a 300 pound man with a heavy build. The woman did not have any visible signs of injury to her neck, police said, and refused medical attention.

 A Belleville man told police he was assaulted while at a New Year's Eve Party at Club 4Sixty6 in West Orange. He said a man in his 60s allegedly bumped into his girlfriend while in the VIP section of the club around 3 a.m. He said he raised his hand across the man's chest in an attempt to push him away from his girlfriend but was grabbed by several bouncers and held. According to the incident report, the older man reached over the bouncers and punched the Belleville man in the mouth, causing him to bleed. During the incident, the victim said his phone and identification card fell out of his pocket.
