The female resident whose car was hit said to police that at approximately 1 a.m. on June 19 she had awoken to the sound of a car starting its engine on the street across from her home. The car was described by the resident as a grey or silver four-door sedan with two men inside.

Police canvassed the neighborhood for details or leads, but no resident could provide any information.

Capt. John Buoye from the West Orange Police Deparment said police have nothing to go on at this time, and the incidents are still under investigation.

While Buoye said these were random incidents, he added there have been incidents in the past with paintball guns -- usually involving juveniles.
