4 West Orange Cops Hurt in High-Speed Chase of Alleged Carjackers
Charges are pending against an Orange man allegedly involved in the theft of two vehicles in two days.
Four West Orange Police officers suffered minor injuries during a high-speed pursuit of an alleged carjacker Friday afternoon, according to NJ.com.
A group of people, including Orange resident Charles Bracy, allegedly were in possession of an Infiniti carjacked from Orange Thursday and then carjacked a BMW at gunpoint from the Essex Green Shopping Center in West Orange before driving off in both vehicles at approximately 1 p.m. Friday, the article said.
Police pursued the cars during which the Infiniti, allegedly driven by Bracy, ran into two West Orange police vehicles on Mount Pleasant Avenue, the article said.

Bracy was later caught and charges are pending, the article said. The BMW and its occupants got away and remain at-large, the article said.
