Liberty Middle School Students Win Aviation Art Contest
Peter Powel earned first place in the state, Kayla Robe second place, Faith Rodriguez third and Saniyiah Richardson honorable mention.
Four students from Liberty Middle School have won the 2014 International Aviation Art Contest in the State of New Jersey for the age group of 10-13.
Peter Powel earned first place in the State, Kayla Robe second place, Faith Rodriguez third place and Saniyiah Richardson honorable mention. The contest, sponsored by the New Jersey Department of Transportation Division of Aeronautics theme was “Flying Saves Lives”.
"I was pleasantly surprised and proud our students accomplishment in taking all top awards and applaud Ms. Villalobos in offering her students opportunities for recognition activities such as this aviation art competition," said Principal Robert Klemt.
