Join Us On a Fairy Tale Adventure! Into the Woods, Jr. Playing at Liberty Middle School in West Orange

INTO THE WOODS, JR. is playing at The Liberty Middle School Auditorium on Thursday, May 8, 2014 and Friday, May 9, 2014 at 7:00pm.

The musical, designed for school aged performers, is based on the Broadway classic soon to be a feature film starring Meryl Streep & Johnny Depp. The 7th & 8th grade cast & crew contains approximately fifty students led by chorus teacher JOHN HELLYER, assisted by teachers Vince DeJesus, Patricia Richardson, Christina Alamo and Amy Shera.

All of your favorite characters—Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Rapunzel, Jack (and his beanstalk), and the Witch—meet and interact in this whimsical original story. The musical centers on a baker and his wife who wish to have a child; Cinderella, who wishes to attend the king's festival; and Jack, who wishes his cow would give milk. When the baker and his wife learn that they cannot have a child because of a witch's curse, the two set off on a journey to break the curse and wind up changed forever.
