JR PEE WEE MUSTANGS DOMINATE TWO GAMES THIS WEEK!

Update on the undefeated West Orange PAL Junior Pee Wee's Football Team

The West Orange PAL Junior Pee Wee Mustangs improved their record on September 16, 2012, to 2-0 with a big win at Bayonne. Elijah Brown had 105 yards and a TD on just two carries. Makhi Green and Shakhi Carson both added TD runs. The most exciting play of the game was Sean Brown’s 44 yard TD pass to Jayson Raines. It was great to see Jayson back out there in his return from a fractured ankle. Divine Zaire and Carson also added an extra point each. The offense gained 199 yards on just 8 plays for the game. Syncere Flanigan, Jonathan Salazar, Chris Parsons, Zander Timothy, Bowen Wright and Adrian Charles were all strong on the line.

The defense came up big again. Jacob Maurice had seven tackles and a fumble recovery. Elijah Brown also had a recovery. Both were on great kicks by Jordan Quiles to steal possesion from Bayonne. Jarrett Waiters, Raines, Carson and Quiles all added QB sacks. Jared Massay, Aidan Healy, Zander Lipsey, Gavin Rembert, Javon Riviere, Sean Tandy, Aidan Carter and Larry Verducci all did a great job on defense. The game ended in style as the Mustangs stuffed Bayonne on 4 downs inside the 5 yard line for an exciting goal line stand.

On Monday, September 18, 2012n there was a night game was just as exciting. The Mustangs beat Hackensack 32-0. Touchdowns were scored by Dorian Rawls, Divine Zaire, Jacob Maurice, Gilberto Robinson, & Hunter Bonaparte. Aidan Healy added an extra point run and Zander Lipsey threw a nice play action pass to Colton Lehrer for another extra point.

The team's head coach, Andrew Mazurek, is planning for the next game when the Mustangs will have their home opener September 23, 2012 at 10:30 am against Silk City.
