Teen Socials

Next Teen Social: Wednesday, January 2, 7:00 p.m.

Teens. Socializing. At the library. With food, and music, and maybe some games. Lachell, from ShopRite, will be here to whip up something delicious. If you’re between 6-12 grades, why not stop by and bring some friends?

Read N’ Chat Book Discussions

Second Wednesday of the Month, 7:30-8:30, Grades 6-8

Next meeting: Wednesday, January 9, 7:30-8:30

Read N’ Chat is a place where teens can discuss great books, from science fiction to fantasy to graphic novels and everything in between. January’s selection is American Born Chinese by Gene Luen Yang, a graphic novel that tells three interwoven tales, taking the reader from China to the set of a television sitcom to an American high school. Copies are still available at the library, so sign-up and join the discussion!

Teen Game Nights

Third Wednesday of the Month, 7-8:30 p.m., Grades 6-12

Next Game Night: Wednesday, January 16, 7-8:30 p.m.

Like playing Nintendo Wii? Chess? Boggle? Scrabble? Want to hang out with other gamers or bring some friends to play a board game? Game night is a great way to socialize, play some Super Smash Bros or Mario Kart, and have a good time on a Wednesday night. Bring your own board games, Nintendo DS, or Playstation Vita.
