The New Jersey Jackals returned home to Yogi Berra Stadium this past weekend after spending eight days away from Little Falls. The Jackals went 3-4 on their road trip which included trips to Newark and Rockland. The Jackals finished their four game set with the Rockland Boulders on Friday at home winning 5-4 in an exciting four run eighth inning. It was a hot night at the stadium but it was buy one ticket and get one free. The Jackals took on the Newark Bears on Saturday and Sunday. The Jackals lost to the Bears 4-2 but Jackals fans got to see a brilliant display of fireworks after the game. Sunday was Funday Sunday at Yogi Berra Stadium. Hot dogs were only one dollar and kids got to run the bases and play catch in the outfield after the game. Jackals players were also signing autographs after the big 12-7 victory. The Jackals evened the series at one game apiece. The Jackals return to action on Tuesday night to finish out the series with the Newark Bears. The Jackals stay at Yogi Berra Stadium Wednesday thru Saturday to play a four game set with the Rockland Boulders. Come out Tuesday night at 7:05pm for Italian Heritage night and for half priced draft beer and soda. Wednesday’s game is an 11:05am 1st pitch and is a camp and business day. And do not forget about Thursday night’s Thirsty Thursday! All draft beers and sodas are only one dollar. Hope to see you at Yogi Berra Stadium this week.
