The New Jersey Jackals returned home from a seven game road trip this past weekend to Yogi Berra Stadium to take on the Newark Bears. Friday night was a fun game as a T-Rex from Field Station Dinosaur in Secaucus threw out the first pitch. I had an especially fun night on Friday as I did the PA Announcing for the Jackals 3-2 win. “Now Batting Number 30, Angel Berroa, Number 30.” George, the usual PA Announcer, had a day off and I got to fill in. It was a lot of fun!! Saturday was another fun day in Little Falls as the best fireworks show in NJ took place after the Jackals tough 9-7 loss. Sunday was one dollar hot dogs and kids after the game had a blast because they got to run the bases and get autographs from Jackals players. Jackals beat the Bears 10-6. Come out and support the Jackals tonight at 7pm, tomorrow night at 7pm and Wednesday morning at 11am as they take on the Worcester Tornadoes. See you at Yogi Berra Stadium!!
