West Orange Arts Council Kick-off Party & Fundraiser

Art on display, poetry, creative connection, a wine tasting and live entertainment from some of the greatest local jazz notables. Headlining the performance will be incomparable recording artist and jazz singer, Jan Carden.  Joining him will be legendary guitarist Bob DeVos, whose latest CD is a chart topper; Lynette Sheard, astonishing vocalist and “West Orange Rising Star” winner; Richard Reiter, versatile horn player and recording artist; and Howard Hull, gifted pianist.
Special honoree for the evening will be artist George Tarr who is the oldest working artist in West Orange and is celebrating his 99th birthday!
The West Orange Arts Council, the township’s only commissioned arts organization, is working to raise funds for an arts and cultural center, a
“Home of Our Own.” Proceeds from the evening will benefit this cause.

Tickets may be purchased at the door at $20 per person for Arts Council members, and $25 for non-members.
