PraiseMoves has been called the “Christian alternative to yoga”. This
class uses gentle movement in a series of deep stretching and
strength-building postures, each linked to Scripture verse, which is
focused upon, while doing the postures. PraiseMoves is performed through
full ranges of movement that include gentle, deep diaphragmatic
breathing that strives to balance flexibility, strength, endurance and
relaxation. By improving your flexibility and strengthening your muscles
with PraiseMoves, you will not only enhance your ability to perform
daily tasks, you will also improve your posture, help alleviate common
aches and pains, reduce back pain, and increase your overall sense of
health and well-being. People of all faiths are welcome in this class
and would benefit physically, emotionally, and spiritually from it.
Please bring your own roll-up exercise mat and water bottle.
Fee:$5 Drop in fee per class. First time participants, please arrive at least 5 minutes early to register.
