BLOOD DRIVE & BONE MARROW REGISTRY DRIVE AT UPCWO

Super Community Blood Drive at United Presbyterian Church of West Orange has two great incentives for people to donate blood on Saturday.  All blood donors will receive a $10 gift certificate for ShopRite.  They will also be entered into a sweepstakes to win two tickets to the Super Bowl at Met Life Stadium in February 2014.  

Blood donors must know their Social Security number and have photo or signed ID; must weigh 120 pounds; must eat a meal and drink plenty of water one hour prior to donating; and 16 year old parental consent forms will be available.

Be the Match Foundation will also be conducting a bone marrow registry drive.  One must be at least 18 and no more than 44 to register.  The process to register is simple: it involves merely the non-invasive swabbing of the volunteer's mouth.
