State Assembly Democrats Jasey, McKeon Win Re-election

The duo of incumbent District 27 Democratic Assembly incumbents were re-elected Tuesday night.

Milia Jasey and John McKeon retained their seats in the Assembly after winning Tuesday's election with 32.5 and 33.5 percent of the vote, according to preliminary results.

The Democratic pair beat out Republican challengers Laura Ali and Angelo Tedesco. The Republican challengers did not receive much help from being on the same line as Republican Gov. Chris Christie, who handily defeated Barbara Buono.
