The WO Council of PTAs each year sponsors a moderated candidates night, which affords the candidates the ability to discuss issues pertaining to the Board of Education in a controlled forum in front of the voting public.  The event is moderated by the League of Women Voters.

The moderator will ask the candidates a series of questions which are prepared by the Council of PTA's yet randomly chosen by the moderator.  Once that portion of the evening is complete, the candidates are then asked questions written down by audience members.

The PTA reminds residents, the questions from the audience are randomly chosen by the moderator.

Each candidate also has the opportunity to make an opening and closing statement.
